PayPerPost Would Have Paid Me To Slam Them?

There's currently a $10 opportunity on PayPerPost to create buzz surrounding PayPerPost Direct that doesn't have any PageRank or Alexa requirements for your site - and there's no requirement to be positive! If my new domain was registered with PayPerPost, I'd take this opportunity and submit yesterday's slamming post about how PayPerPost Direct is short changing bloggers - and take the title as the Queen of All Evil!

Despite no requirement to be positive, they do ask that you talk about the differences in service charges between PPP and it's competitors like ReviewMe - let's just not talk about the differences in what services you actually get, right?

If I was PayPerPost I would've waited until they'd established a publisher marketplace before launching PayPerPost Direct - and still only charged a 10% service fee. Better yet, I'd build a better publisher marketplace by providing more accurate RSS readership statistics and providing the ability for advertisers to search based on the lowest charging blog with a certain ranking. For example, being able to find the cheapest blog with an Alexa under 100,000. This is great for advertisers as they get a better ROI and great for "value for money" publishers as they'll receive more offers! More bang for your buck!

With their large advertiser base and lower service charge, they would've captured the paid review market in a matter of seconds!

In any case, while PayPerPost Direct will be short changing you, the regular PayPerPost marketplace is still a great place for bloggers to make a quick and evil $10!
