The new chairman of the BBC Trust, Sir Micheal Lyons, has just appeared on Sunday AM discussing about where he sees the BBC heading amidst an increasingly contentious public service remit.
He famously said "I don't watch much TV" when he was appointed, causing some degree of concern from viewers. Today, he clarifies that statement by saying that he believe he actually represents the sizable majority of the viewing public, who mix TV viewing with other pursuits, such as sport, theatre, cinema, reading, etc.
Is he right? Do you take part in other pursuits after work? Or do you sit down in front of the box with a TV dinner?
