"Still Lions Led by Donkeys?"
08 October 2007
The subject is "Still Lions Led by Donkeys?" and looks at whether management is more enlightened now than it used to be.
The speaker is Peter Murcott. Prior to coming to the Island he was Head of a primary school in South Shropshire and during that time he obtained a law degree. In 1990 he became a lecturer in law at the Isle of Man College where he worked full time.
He has a long involvement in the Trade Union Movement, both on and off the Island, and is the Social Legislation Officer for the Isle of Man Trade Union Council, a position he has held for four and a half years.
The event will be held on Monday 15th October at the Hilton Hotel, Douglas, 6.15 p.m. The lecture is free - there is dinner afterwards if you would like to stay at £17.00.
